Kicks on and off


Kobalt 20 gal compressor kicks on for only a second then kicks off. It does this over and over.

Definitely a pressure switching problem. Did you buy this unit new? Has it done this since YOU have had it? Have it ever been dropped so that it may have hit the pressure switch? It sounds as if the "cut-in" and "cut-out" pressure settings are too close. Do you have the manual for this unit so you can check the adjustment of the pressure switch settings? David
