Kenmore/Whirlpool oven not staying lit

Hello all, I'm new to this so please flame me as my oven won't and I need the heat right now. lol

I have a Kenmore 665 range (I think made by Whirlpool unsure of model number) and I am having trouble with the oven section. I can press the bake and start buttons and the range ignites and then goes out about 5 seconds later. (I assume the safety timeout kicks in) and two minutes later it tries again. Bake and broil do the same thing but the top burners light and ignite and stay lit. I haven't tried anything yet as I'm oven stupid and don't know what to do. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx much

nothing you can do. call a local servicer and tell him [cause you want someone who knows how to fix them] you have a Sears -DSI-ignition system.
