kenmore refrigerator ice maker
Our ice maker sometimes released little black 'particles' into the ice when making. I believe it was the plastic (or whatever material) that the water line was made of, although I'm not sure. Now, when you turn on the ice maker, instead of making cubes of ice, a whole sheet of ice was made that covers the bottom of the freezer! Apparently the water was released as water, not ice, then froze once the water landed in one big sheet. Does anyone know how to repair, or is there no hope. Weve had the fridge for about 15 years.
