Kenmore Ice Maker

I have a Kenmore refrigerator freezer with an icemaker that is several years old. The ice will dump now but its still connected. It will dump out the whole tray and the ice doesn't break apart. Any Idea's would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Hart.

Yes. The tray will fill with water and the ice cubes will freeze and dump in the bin but the cubes remain connected for whatever reason. It's almost like the water valve may be letting a little to much water into the freezing chamber if this makes sense? The cubes don't break apart in the bin when they are dumped. Then they can't be dispensed because they are to large. Hope this makes sense.

No I don't have the selector size switch on our ice maker.
