It has a hot surface ignition and gas valve. There are two outputs on the gas valve, one for the broil and one for the oven. The oven is getting weak and can't pre-heat anymore. The valve runs on 3V AC or so and is connected in series with the ignitor.
Based on my testing so far, what happens is the ignitor comes on and the gas comes on and it looks like all is well but then the gas cuts back and gets really weak and the oven never gets very hot.
I measured the voltage on the valve and it is only 2.5V. I measured the voltage on the other valve that is use for the upper burner (Broil) and it is a good 3.5v so either my hot surface ignition is getting really weak and creating too much resistance to give the gas valve enough to stay open. The other possibility is that the controller board is getting weak and can't provide enough juice to keep both the ignitor and the valve happy. I'm guessing that I just need a new hot surface ignitor.. Thoughts?
My recollection on these is that the board monitors the amount of current the igniter uses. If it is not in the range it expects to see then it won't open the gas valve. I had to replace one (igniter) on mine because of this. It would glow but not lite.
