Kenmore Gas Dryer not heating

Can someone walk me through fixing this? I checked some posts but they were beyond square one.

first thing you have to do is get access to the burner assy, either by removing the entire front panel or the access panel below the door depending on your model. Your problem is most likely the igniter, so unhook it and ohm it. If it is bad then replace it, if it is good then look and the thermal fuse and ohm it. 95% chance it is one of those 2 items.

I did it! It was the thermal fuse. I checked parts on line looking for a fuse kit I read about on the internet. Sears parts showed this part as the most ordered, only 15 bucks, so I gave that a shot. Totally worked! Thanks for answering my post. I am a Nana and had to break a few time to watch my grands, but I did it!

good for you, now you must investigate a little further. thermal fuses usually blow for a reason. check the exhasut venting and the hood out side.

Would it blow if my vent is not attached right or is too close to the wall? I have a raised house, I think it vents under. I checked the hose, it wasn't blocked.
