kenmore dryer problem

Dryer is heating up then shutting off, I checked and cleaned airflow. I then ohmed the cycling thermostat, are all four prongs supposed to show continuity?

kenmore dryer problem

I just repaired one for my Father-in-law which had the same problem. It's probably the coils or solenoids that allow the gas to flow when proper current is measured at the ignitor( which I also replaced).Failure of these is a common problem,I'm told. They come in pairs,20 bucks and are simple to replace. Good luck.
