Just installed LG dishwasher--there's a buzzing sound.
I installed a new LG dishwasher tonight and it's making a buzzing sound. It's not constant, but it's coming from the bottom area. I've never installed a dishwasher before but I have installed washing machines and faucets. I'm know the basics.
I did a first load of dishes in it to test it out, but it wasn't full and there wasn't anything touching or rubbing or sticking out the bottom of any racks.
I used a new steel braided water hose but I reused the power cord. I just hooked it up the same as it was on the original dishwasher--black-black, white-white, green-green. It turned on like normal and started running when I turned it on.
The buzzing sounds almost like an electrical sound but like I said, it's not constant. I used wire nuts and put electrical tape over that to make sure. Any help would be appreciated.
