Jenn-Aire Range

I'm getting an -FC- error message, and it won't stop beeping. At first the probe light came on (14 yr old range, probe never used), but it's off now, and getting -FC- message.

Haven't done this before, so not sure how it works. Does someone respond at some point?

It's a forum... You have to wait for somebody to come along that knows the answer. Might be a few hours or might be a day or three. Keep checking back. Reply to your own thread (bump it) only if no response after 24 hours or so.

Btw, wwlcome to DIY

That's a communication error code. may be or not from shorted probe receptacle. the only thing you can do is kill power for an hour, if fault returns, call local servicer who knows Jenn A'....always post model and serial # for best response.

I'm going to assume that your FC code is actually F0 since fault codes are always F and then a #. Anyway F0 code would be a bad control board.

Thanks so much for your responses - where could I find the model and/or serial #? This unit is 14-15 yrs old, I can't find the manual. My dad had purchased it for me, and he's long since deceased. I'll try killing the power for an hour or more, and see if that helps.

I thought it was F-0 also, but there is an FC code for J/A.
