how much area is required for fire safety around a stove? i need to know how much clearence i should allow (minimum) around my gas stove for fire safety?

depends on the unit. Some gas stoves are rated as Zero clearance

by reading the instructions. If this was already installed and you do not have these, find the manufacturer and read the instructions online.
