Installing Gas Range

Hi, what's the clearance on the sides of a gas range to the side cabinets? Thanks

skymaster 01-06-2008 10:39 PM

usually close to zero. They are designed to slip into a 30" opening and are very well insulated to keep heat in so are almost cold on the outside when on

Jackie

You are absolutely correct. I have a gas range and it is about 1/8 of an inch, (maybe even less) away from the cabinet and does not get hot at all.

Jackie, you are one smart cookie.

Thanks Skymaster, and we can't forget Yummy Mummy:thumbsup: I want to install it as close as possible, wifey doesn't like crevices between the stove and counter top. Thanks
