Icemaker issue with Kenmore 106.56532400

Just recently I replaced the filter in the refridgerator and the ice maker seems to have quit working. I have checked the LED lights and everything seems to be OK according to the diagnostic codes I found for the boards. It blinks twice and pauses, then blinks twice again with the door open. When I manually close the emmiter door the LED light stays on. We tried to thaw the water fill tube and I pushed some light guage wire up through it and did not feel any obstructions.

The icemaker was working fine prior to the installation of the new filter, could this have somehow caused the issue? On a side note, when I removed the old filter there was water shooting out of one of the holes till the new filter was installed. I have since removed and reinstalled the filter a few more times to check and it has not done this again.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
