icemaker


installed new water filter and auger drum on Whirlpool ED5FHG and it stopped making ice, workrd fine before.

icemaker


lot of icemaker questions today. Lot of curt wise A answers too. But dan's right, is the filter firmly in place? Are you getting water from dispenser if equipped? Are you getting water to icemaker? All electrical connections back in place? And just why did you fix it?

Didnt repair ice maker repaired broken auger for the ice dispenser never touched ice maker only the bin that holds the ice water is on and dispenses but stopped making ice

Ok I'm still a bit confused. A normal state for me and due to my poorly worded question. "bin that holds the ice water" Do you mean water is entering the ice maker compartment but not freezing? if so the freezer may not be cold enuff. There is a heating element that thaws ice enuff for it to be released from maker, it may be stuck in on position. Timer, motor, or thermostat may be stuck.
Does auger turn?
