Question

Ice and Water controls not working on Refrigerator

I have a 2001 Whirlpool (Model # gc5shgxks00) side by side refrigerator that the ice maker works on, but the water and ice crusher for the door do not. We are not getting power to the wires in the door. We took the control panel off the door to get to the wires, but no power. We tried to take the other panel off, but it seems to be glued to the door. Any suggestions as to how to find where we are losing power, and a way to fix would be very beneficial!
Side note, we are also going to have to replace the fan motor above the coils on the inside in order to have cold air in the fridge and freezer again.
