ice maker not producing

Hi! We have a whirlpool gold conquest, side by side. Our ice maker it's filling with water, freezing, but not dumping it out. I've checked the sensor, water line, obstructions, & estimated it to be cold enough. I've pulled out the maker, but not sure how to check out the motor or arm used to dump. Any ideas would be great. I've checked other threads, but didn't see this specific problem.
Thank you

how did you check the sensor? if its filling but not dumping, either your sensor is bad or your icemaker
