I bought a 4 foot subzero

I bought a 4 foot subzero fridge at a garage sale.
We moved it, and it seems to be working well. It is on its own 20 amp circuit.
My only problem is the fan or something seems to be on all the time.
My other fridges and freezers turn off and then on. They cycle as needed but the subzero is on all the time. Is this normal? I did not receive a manual. Is there some kind of maintenance that needs to be performed other than insuring the pans - vents are clear and clean?

Any suggestion will be helpful.
Thanks in advance
Dave

what fan? Is this a fridge only or a freezer/fridge?

post the model too. That might be helpful depending where this goes.

The condenser fan on top of the compressor.

which compressor? I though the literature said there was 2 compressors.

Is it just the fan or the compressor as well? If just the fan, (and I admit I am not that knowledgeable about these) I would think it might be a stuck relay or temp sensor. If the comp is running as well, I would think low freon or a severe air leak allowing cold to escape.
