Hood fan installation

I am in the process of replacing a builder's hood fan with a Kobe undercabinet one. The new one is much heavier (35lbs), and I am concerned about this. The under cabinet piece is particle board with melamine.

The instructions just say use 4 screws (which were not provided), but will this be truly sufficient to handle the weight?

Thanks
Kevin

If the cabinets have been installed properly, you shouldn't have an issue. If you want you can use machine bolts, washers and lock nuts.
