Help! My dryer keeps wearing out rollers!

Okay.

I have a Kenmore dryer that is roughly 5 years old. Over the last two years I have replaced the bottom roller no less than five times! Each time I open it up, the rubber on the roller is worn like it is being split down the middle. Each time everything feels like it is going back into place correctly when I put it back together but somewhere between one and two months later, the noise is back and I know the wheel is worn out.

I am one repair away from taking it out into a field and shooting it... a lot.

Nope, just normal laundry for a family of three.

Mine is getting noisey again after about 8 years, but it's 30 years old. Replace the pads up front and the shaft and bushing at rear. While you're in there clean the vent duct inside and inspect your belt for cracks and check the element.
THEN CHECK IT FOR LEVEL. IF IT IS RUNNING OUT OF LEVEL ON A SLOPED BASEMENT FLOOR CENTRIFIGAL FORCE IS YOUR ISSUE.

Ok never thought about it being level. I'll definately check that. The last go round I replaced the heating element and the belt is about a year old at best.
