GE side by side leaking

I have a GE side by side fridge freezer about 10 to 12 years old that has developed a serious leak on the freezer side. There appears to be a drain hole at the back but water has been accumulating at the bottom freezing and then running out the door onto the floor. Is this something I can fix or is it time to call the repair guy?I cannot see where the water is coming from, thought maybe because of the very high humidity it was just defrosting itself excessively.
