Ge profile double door bottom freezer


why is it not cooling properly? I tried unplugging it , adjusting temp, cleaning bottom with a vac. But is not holding temp. top is 66/ freezer is 22

Ge profile double door bottom freezer


There is a little fan in the back of the freezer (?) compartment that is not working. call a repairman or change the part out yourself.

why would you give him advice like that when there is no way you can possibly know what the problem is, how do you know it is not a defrost problem, a condenser fan motor, cold control, damper control or any number of things. If he goes out and buys a fan motor and that does not fix it, then what?? More than likely I'd say he has a defrost problem but he needs to give us a little more to go on then just "it is not cooling".

One reason is past personal experience, perhaps IO should have put in there a the word probably or even a "in my opinion".
I made the assumption that the OP is not stupid and would probably check it out on his own.
I also think most people are familiar with the old adage that "free advice is worth what you pay for it".
