GE fridge running warm inside

I know it's been rather warm and humid these past few days...but my GE fridge has started warming up on the inside. I pulled the unit forward and cleaned all the coils off good, but I still am running high 40's even 50 degree inside the fridge. Not good....It's about 12 years old...time to replace...or can this unit be re-charged and go another ten years. I know there isn't much I can do myself....but feedback /comments would be appreciated as to what might be going on. Model # TBX 24 JASHRAD

Well, was hoping to see some responses here.......this thing is still too warm. I did empty the freezer compartment, removed the cover on the back side...made sure the fan ran that forces cold air below to the fridge. That was done by simple observation of the fan when I set the fridge control to max cold setting. The coils in the freezer were not frosted over bad, tho some frost was evident on each side. Nothing major...I took a hair dryer and blew warm air over that set of coils to make sure all frost was gone, and put things back together. The freezer gets cold....but I still have too warm temps inside the fridge compartment. Low 50's still, not good....Anyone???
