GE Dishwasher Leaks

have a GE EDW1500 dishwasher and she is leaking under the cabinet. Took the valance panel off and it appears as if the inlet valve is the culprit (valve is very wet and no apparent water in any other area. I assume (always risky) that I can take the two retaining screws out of the support bracket, unscrew the metal water line(after turning off the water to the washer) and this will allow me to drop the valve enough so I can see if the rubber line and hose clamp are intact. Is this correct?
