Since I got so much help with the bleeding radiator questions, I'd thought I'd throw my other problem out for suggestions. When my new gas boiler was installed a few years back, I noticed the gas oven wouldn't work. I told the installer before he left, but when I showed him, it did work. I thought the oven was the problem. One winter passed before I made the connection. The oven will work only when the boiler is not working. Now when I use the oven, I turn the temp down to 55, cook, and then turn the temp back up. There has got to be a better way?
Did the installer run a new gas pipe from the meter to the boiler. Or just reuse the pipe that was there. I know its hard to remember things from a few years back, but is there any chance the installer put in a large boiler then what was there.
