My gas oven is not igniting. The ignitor is working (orange glow). I even try to ignite it with a match and still won't ignite. Please help

Gas oven

Did you pay your gas bill? Seriously, did you? If you don't have a notice od disconnection on your front and/or backdoor, check the merer cock on your meter- it should be straight up and down. Next, check all piping going to your oven. There should be a shutoff to your oven, so you may have to pull it out to ensure that it also still in the 'on' position.

Gas oven

not trying to be a smart ass but how would her shut off valves get turned off?

you most likely have a weak ignitor. It may glow but it has to draw so many amps before it will kick the gas on, when they get weak they will not draw enough amperage to this. Depending on your skill level it probably is not a diy task.

Kids, ex husbands, ex boyfriends, neighbours, gas company, next door neighbour's contractor, hell, I've seen it all. She could have even turned a valve herself, it happens all the time, lol.
