Gas Cooktop

I have a seven year old GE profile four burner, electrical ignition, gas cook top and for the past few months I have two burners that do not light (gas flows but no ignition). Yesterday I was cleaning the range and took the control knobs off and put them in the dishwasher to clean. After the wash was complete I took the knobs out and reinstalled and Voila all burners light, however, I couldnot turn some of the ignightors off (even with the control knob in the off position). I killed power and took a blow dryer and dryed all of the knob cavities as well as the posts the knobs fit on, restored power and I am back to having two of four burners operational but at least no constant ignition. Do I need to replace the controllers?
