Frigidaire UltraQuiet III Dishwasher inop

Quick rundown...

I will start a cycle and water will flow to fill the base, but once it clicks to the "Washing Cycle" it does nothing. There's complete quiet. After a while, you'll hear it click and it will drain water. It repeats just like it were washing the dishes. It will also dry during the dry cycle. I've tried everything I can think of. Increasing the house water temp, clean the arms, and turning off the added heat settings.

Thanks for any and all help!

-Matt

model# would be helpful, but I would guess either the main control board is bad(not sending power to the wash motor) or the motor is bad.

Model # FDB700BFC2

Is there anything I can do to narrow down the issue?

the only your going to be able to narrow it down is to get a voltmeter and see if you are getting power to the wash motor. Do you have a meter? can you read a wiring schematic?

No volt meter, but I can read a schematic.

Do you have links to where I can purchase these parts and the associated part numbers? If not, do you know where I can find them?

My logic would be to try swapping the least expensive part first...

Thanks for the help!

I hate to keep posting, but I really need some help here. Does anyone know the part numbers for the above mentioned parts and where I can order them?

you're kidding right? get on google and type in Frigidaire dishwasher parts and you'll get a hundred web sites for appliance parts, complete with part #, pictures and breakdowns, some even have repair advice.

http://www.repairclinic.com/Frigidai...9783-Parts?n=4

I found this site, but I only see a control board insert and a timer. Would it be the timer that I replace?
