why does a little glass tube cost 15 dollars? Is the fuse worth replacing?

Can't answer that. don't know what it looks like or if it is a specialy made item or not.

Again, unless we know what it is protecting it will be hard to say. My experience is though if there is a fuse protecting something it is usually needed.

it was the fuse. I got a new one for 97 cents. We are up and running again
