Question

fridge/freezer problem?

Hello and good day, I have a frigidaire , which I purchased in '08. The freezer is frozen at the top where the ice is located, but the bottom of the freezer is thawing and the fridge part is not cooling at all. I have cleaned the back , The compressor "seems" to be still working???, the fan is still running.
We did have a power outage, three days ago. This is when we first started to notice the problem. Any suggestions, please help. Thank you for your time in advance. -Ron

fridge/freezer problem?

Water ran down, and froze the flapper between the freezer and fridge sections. Unplug and let it thaw out. Also, take the the bottom panel in the freezer out, and clean up any water in there with a sponge.
