flashing light in microwave

Haven't had time to call the Co.

6 month old 1,100 watt microwave.

Last night put a stick of frozen butter in, to thaw it and put it on high. After 10 seconds the microwave didn't spark, but the light inside flashed. There was no paper stuck to the butter.

Has anyone else ever had this happen?
