fixing a cracked coffee pot

After realizing I had left the coffee pot on all day and night long, I poured out what was left of the day-old coffee and tried to run some sink water into the pot to cool it down faster.

But when I ran the water through, the pot cracked.

I hope to not simply replace the entire coffee pot; that would cost a fortune. Is there a cheap way to cover the crack up, and it still be waterproof?
