Figidaire Ice Maker

Have a Frigidaire side by side. Ice gets jammed at the top which blocks the next set of ice. If I pry out the ice pieces, the thing will work for a little while and then get jammed again. Do I need to replace the ice maker completely or is there some trick that should get it working properly again?
