Electric Range Help

I own a BOSCH. Model HES34-U. The first few days it was working fine, couple of days ago, it began turning the oven on by itself in "self clean". Need help with it, anyone?

not sure I follow your problem, can you be more specific. You say it turns the oven on in self clean, what does that mean?? How old a stove? warranty?

No warranty. Bought it from an auction less then a year ago for over 75% off retail price.
Simple as the machine turning itself on "self clean oven" mode.

Quite possibly, it's been set like an alarm clock. Find the setting and turn the alarm off, so to speak.

Electric Range Help

wow, man of few words. Does it do it randomly, does it do it more than once a day once a week , constantly or what? Does the oven turn on and start to heat? Does the door lock like it is in a full self clean mode?

"Does the door lock like it is in a full self clean mode? " Good point.
Aren't they all 'Manual Lock'? Do they make one that locks automatically? As I recall, they have to be locked to go into 'Self-Clean' mode.

BTW, a real self cleaning oven/stove shouldn't even need to be wiped off or touched in any way by human hands, imho.
