malfunction Newbie Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 13	Electric kettle stopped working My electric kettle just stopped working. I'd prefer to fix it rather than buy a new one, if possible. It has been cleaned so the problem should not be due to scaling. The other possible options that are causing the problem would probably have to do with the element or the cord.
