Dryer motor


Hey what is a common ohmage value on the leads of a dryer motor. Mine has stopped and I measured around 2 ohms on the motor leads.

what wires? how many total wires on motor? start winding wires, run windings?

Dryer motor


Notice you're an electrican. they're all 120vac s/p cent sw start mtrs. it's easier to check for power to mtr. usually when mtr is bad they'll at least hum. watch out for belt sw-if it has one..
