Dryer Frigidaire Gallery is dead..need help.

I plan on tearing it apart tonight, but I don't know what it could be. It does nothing when you turn it on. I checked the breaker and the outlet with an multimeter and I am getting power. My wife was doing laundry last night and it died mid cycle. I replaced the heating element in it last year and I don't remember seeing any fuses. Any help\ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Abs.

I would start with the door switch.

That was my first thought, since it seems like it isn't getting any power. What is the best way to test that? Find where the wires run and test the current when the door is shut?

Thanks

With the power off at the breaker, or unplugged, and the leads to the switch removed, I would check it with an ohn meter. I cannot say how to get to it though, as I am not familiar enough with the various models to be able to get that specific without looking at it. Possibly through the door itself, or you may have to remove the front. On any of the ones that I have worked on in recent years, the fronts come off pretty easy, usually by removing a couple of concealed screws along the bottom, and then swinging the front out in some fashion.
