dishwasher stopped mid cycle

Hi all,

Model Number: 665.13594K600

During the middle of a cycle, I heard some odd noises and the dishwasher just stopped. It appears something caused a jam. I removed the object that was at the bottom of the dishwasher, but now I can't get anything to work. I still get power and when I hit the drain button, the appliance makes some noise for a few secs and stops. When I try to start a new cycle nothing happens. There is currently water in the dishwasher. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide. If you need more info, let me know.

Just to update.....

Once I used a shop vac to remove the H20, the dishwasher filled again and drained. It now runs, but there is now a fairly loud noise, whirring and at times it sounds as if an object is bouncing around. Something seems to be in "there." I don't know how to get to it though.
