dishwasher door getting heavier....


People,

(Kitchen Aid Mod #KUD IO 1FLS)

Noticed over say, a few days, as I opened the dishwasher door, it got heavier and heavier as one brings it "down" to the horizontal position. My initial guess: springs? Hydraulics? Not sure why a door would aquire weight.

Still works fine- just puzzled on this quirk...

dishwasher door getting heavier....


maybe your just getting weaker actually there is a spring on each side of the door attached to the door hinges.
