Dish Water Silent after being in Drydock

My sister had her dishwasher in storage for over two years and had it hooked up again yesterday. Electrical and water connection looks good but after locking the unit and selecting a wash cycle nothing happens.

On my dishwasher I believe power on and cycle start causes one or more display lights to light up but on the machine no lights are glowing.

Is a there a diagnostic I could run to confirm that there is power,etc.

Sorry I did not catch the make and model number but I will repost with that info tomorrow.
