Craftsman 5.5hp snowblower

Trying to repair the snow blower after last winter, and found that there are three bolts that hold the ball bearing retainer to the auger housing. How do I get behind the impeller to do this. Or, how can I remove the spring pins from the shaft to get behind the impeller?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Pictures?

Are you trying to replace the bearing? And if so, is it the one between the motor and auger, or the ones on each side of the auger blades? if if it the first, then you need to split the case of the blower by taking the belt cover off, removing the belts, then removing the bolts that hold the Auger housing to the Motor frame. Once this is done, they should be two separate pieces. From there, you'll need to remove both pulleys off the auger shaft (if 2 stage) and then you should be able to remove the bolts for the bearing retainer, and replace the bearing.
