Bottom venting a clothes
I'm moving my washer and dryer to a tight space. Has anyone ever run the vent out of the bottom of a dryer. I'm plan to run the vent through the floor to the basement the out through an existing vent. I looked online and there is a kit. Just wondered if anyone has done it

If it's applicable to your dryer it's ok. don't use any flex hose inside dryer or through floor [code/safety]. remember it may have to come out at some point so take that into consideration.

yes you can run it out the bottom. Easiest to take out drum for better access and make sure all fittings inside dryer are tight and sealed.
