Question

Ariens snow blower damaged by garden hose

My 24 inch Ariens snowblower ate the garden hose buried in snow. I had to use large clippers to free the auger. Both pins were sheared AND the auger housing was pushed out forcing the auger axle partially out of the bushing mounted on the side of the housing. I tried to straighten the housing but the axle is still misaligned: when the auger is engaged there is a metallic noise and the engine stalls. I would appreciate any advice on how I can repair it - all service shops are booked for weeks!

Thanks Manny
