Amana washer?

I put my washer in storage last year and a guy put antifreeze in it. When i hooked it up it filled up with water but it was running right through the drain hose.

I'm not sure of the question but anti-freeze is a big no no in waste lines.

Amana washer?

Mallard....just run a couple of cycles through it to make sure it runs correctly.....you might have just seen a short cycle....

Last I heard, anti-freeze was not an issue for waste water...unless you're on a septic system.

Amana washer?

I tried to do a load of clothes. The washer tub filled with water but didn't do anything after that except water continuously ran out of the drain hose. It never agitated.

Follow the drain hose. Same place on all machines, underneath.

This is what a drain pump looks like on an amana http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDeta...p/3363394/3296 Cheap plastic, and they wear out. I just had to replace a handle on our Maytag dishwasher, which the handle was nothing but plastic. Fell apart after six years of use.

Amana washer?

how high is your drain line? If your drain hose is not elevated to at least 34" the water in the tub will just continue to siphon out the drain hose. Is you hose just lying on the ground or is it going into a stand pipe? Easy fix
