Amana Gas Range Won't Light

Burners work fine, but about 1 in 15 times we turn on the oven and 30 min later it's still not heated up, maybe up to 145 deg but that's as hot as it gets. The igniter is burning bright but there is no gas sound or smell.

If i turn on a stove top burner while this is happening you can hear the oven light (kind of a woosh sound) and it works fine, i can then turn off the stove top burner and it will work fine all day.

Anybody have any ideas? I would normally think that the igniter is bad but it works 14 our of 15 times perfectly....

your ignitor is probably getting weak. turn your oven on and time how long it takes to ignite the burner. Should be around 60 seconds.
