Air


My air has been on 60 for the last couple days but its still 83 in house during the day whats wrong

Post this in the hvac section down below for more answers.. Far too many possiblilties at his moment, we'd have many questions to assist in figuring this out such as is everything turning on, inside and outside?

Btw, setting the set point temperature does not change the air temperature the system provides. The air temperature coming out of your registers/grills remains the same, the system runs longer until it reaches the desired set point of the thermostat when set low(er).

Isn't 60 way too low? My hvac guy told me to try to keep it at or above 70 to avoid freezing.
