1986 Comfortmaker gas furnace
 

We have a 1986 (I think that is the year of it) gas furnace and last night it just stopped working. It was working fine yesterday and now it isn't doing anything. The pilot light is on but the furnace isn't doing anything at all. We have also tried to turn just the fan on and that won't work either. We bought the house about a year ago and the furnace didn't come with an instruction book. Do you have any ideas on what is wrong with it? Money is tight right now and I would love to be able to fix it ourselves. Please help!

Check the switch that controls the unit, maybe it got switched off or went bad. Also check the breaker.
