Wiper arc way less than 90 degrees

People,

Have a 95 Voyager van, and now the arc for wipers is way les than the typical 90-120 degrees. recently worked on motor- I replaced the "washer" thingy gismo, old one rotted off. It he3ld the levers on place, thats all. Not sure if that did something. So now, with wipers off, they rest at about 35 degres off horizontal (resting point).

They stick up during driving, however, not dangerously blocking view. And when activated, they only wipe an arc of about oh, 70 or so deg. What hapened?

Slipped. Take off the nut that holds the arm, move them a couple notches, tighten the nuts, try. If too far, move just a tad back down, repeat.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?

Park the motor. Loosen the nut at the pivot and set the blades to the correct position. Tighten the nut.
