Replacing Disc Brakes On 91 Toyota Corolla
 

hello again!

anyone familar with replacing front disc brakes on 91 corolla? ive done many disc brake jobs before, but never on a toyota. i pulled a front wheel and checked the brakes, they need replacing, rotors too. it looks like there is just the usual bolt on top of caliper, and bolt on bottom. i just want to know if this beast has any hidden surprises!!! for example; i did the disc brakes on an old suburu, years ago, and caliper's pistons screwed into the caliper, instead of just pushing them back in!!!....bob

I had a corolla a few years newer than yours, I don't remember anything out of the ordinary. Just do it, like they say it ain't rocket science!

Every car's a little diffent, but none of them are really a challenge

i did the brakes on the 91 corolla. no biggie. rotors were alittle tough getting off, rusted pretty good, but easy stuff!...bob
