Hood hinge pin removal?

Hi all. I have a 93 Camry that I'm trying to replace the hood lift supports on. I got the passenger side done last night, but the driver side requires you to remove the pin that holds the two brackets together. One of the brackets connects to a large electrical plug coming from the firewall acting as a support for it and the other attaches to the inner fender, which is the bottom support connection for the lift support.

The passenger side came with a new bracket, but apparently you have to reuse the driver side. The only problem is that there is a pressed pin holding the two brackets together on the driver side. Any idea how I could get this pin out? It gave me gray hair last night. Thanks!

Jesse

Hood hinge pin removal?

A picture might be helpful illustrating what you're working on. I can tell you that if you're driving out a pin, it's probabably not going to go to well without removing the assembly from the car.

Ok, I don't have a photo now, but I'll try to post one later tonight. And the assembly is already removed from the car.
