1995 Dodge Caravan "SHAKEIN"


My caravan shakes at 55 mph and over. I know what ur thinking tires off balance, bent rim ................checked all of that and all seems fine. now the kicker that causes me too wonder. When accelerating at 55 +or holding the throttle steady at 55 + it shakes let of the gas and smooth as silk ????????????????????? any suggestions

Ayuh,..

Sounds like a Transmission/ Axle problem...

both half shafts were just replaced but seems to have an o/d shifting prob tho

1995 Dodge Caravan "SHAKEIN"


It could be caused by a number of different things. Most often it is a rim/tire problem. Did you just have the wheels balanced? How much weight did they have to use? Other likely cause would be the alignment, tie rod ends, or slop in the wheel bearing.
