1990 S-10 Chev Pickup 2.5 liter

My brothers engine will not start. He seems to think that this is a fuel problem. When he puts gas down the fuel injected carb he wants to start.
He has replaced the fuel pump, the fuel filter and the fuel relay switch. According to him he can not hear the fuel pump running. Also after disconnecting the fuel line from the carb, with the key on, no fuel is coming out. The fuse has been checked. Is there a fuseable link? Help, please.

Work is for those who can not fish.

Make sure you check powers and grounds. Very likely you could have some corroded wires at that age.
